Q: What is the SafeCab network?
This is a network of verified companies in the Uk. Cab firms are split into 3 groupings Bronze (free listing), Silver (Verified) and Gold (Verified and can take online bookings). Gold companies can also track their cabs and use our dispatch software to manage jobs.
Q: What makes SafeCab different from the others?
Our aim to to provide users the ability to find, book, track and rate verified cab firms. We will provide this information on web, smart phones (Iphone, Andriod, Blackberry and Windows Mobile) and social networks (FaceBook and Wave). Over time we will create a community portal for taxi firms to have their say.
Q:How much does it cost?
The service will be free for end users. will pay a monthly subscription which will give them preferential listings, the ability to take bookings online and even track their cabs.
Q:What platforms is SafeCab available on?
Currently SafeCab is available on Facebook, Iphone, Andriod, Blackberry and the standard web. This list is continually expanding.
Q: Can I track my journey if I get in a cab?
Once in the cab our simple application can use your handset to track your journey. You may even take pictures along your route and post them up to the network.
Q:What history is stored on the network and for how long?
We will store your journeys for up to 100 days after which they will still be available but only in a summary form.
